First, I consider a series of video frames as a volume by giving each frame a thickness, and stacking one on top of the other (1st and 2nd images). This is volume is then resectioned into new frames taken from the side. Notice that in the new frames, time is on the horizontal axis.

Climb Tomogrophay

This is a physical illustration of the development of the other digital videos. I formed the model by segmenting a figure from a video, and stacking each segmented frame on top of the other. The model was made physical using a 3D printer. I then took a CT scan of the model. The CT scan takes cross sectional slices of the model. Scanned front to back, the consecutive CT slices match closely the original source video. Scanned left to right, the slices form a Sideways video, similar to the other digital videos.
